Your work is absolutely incredible. Web pictures don't even begin to capture the precision and elegance of your work. Your contemporary Western Silver engraving is outstanding, but what really amazed me is that you have taken taken the contemporary western style of today and combined the most desirable core of the early style of western engraving and developed it into a gun style on those winchesters that is truly a western style of gun engraving. With the current trend tendency of combining western silver engraving and gun style engraving on bits and spurs, your combination style on steel is absolutely perfect. You are making history Johnny. I have been making bits and spurs since the early 60's and engraving silver since the 70's. I have never been more inspired than what I saw on those Winchesters last week. For some folks it might not seem very politically correct to think of guns as works of art, but I've seen a few museum piece Winchester repeaters that were simply amazing in the detail and artistry of the engraving.
